I think LoG ripped off a riff off Into the Pit. Listen to the riff in the middle of the song, sounds very much like the intro riff off of Laid to Rest.

In my opinion Testament's best record. An absolute Bay Area classic.
The New Order is full of good moments like the title track, Trial by Fire, Into the Pit, Disciples of the Watch or The Preacher.
An absolute Thrash masterpiece.
