i swear, every time i listen to earth day i wish i could write something as majestic and powerful as that. but then i realize that i will never, ever, ever be able to and just enjoy the music.

Every time I go to listen to this I just listen to Earth Day then listen to another album. Maybe one day I'll listen to the whole thing, but it's so long. >_>

Lol, that's exactly what I was like with this album at first, but then I finally listened to it all the way through and I thought it was awesome. I prefer Ocean Machine though.

Every time I go to listen to this I just listen to Earth Day then listen to another album. Maybe one day I'll listen to the whole thing, but it's so long. This is one of those albums that works better as a whole. Every song is more enjoyable because the one before it and the one after it. This is probably my favorite thing that Devin has ever put out under any name.

It may not seem exciting at first, but it REALLY grows on you.
I didn't think it was great except for a few songs, but all of them are pretty enjoyable; except for Tiny Tears maybe.

This is pretty much the feeling of joy and bliss released in an album.

i wouldnt say its weird, it just is his most imaginative album. he takes his more mellow side and experiments with it a bit. has some female vocals. he does a little Elvis impersonation in one song. theres a little but of hevy devy heard but mostly mellow stuff. right now its a t a 4 for me, but it can easily be a 4.5 after a few more listens. ill be buying it for sure when it comes out. his next album which i believe is titled "Deconstruction of a Cheeseburger" is supposed to be a bit more crazy. i love the fact that he hand picked musicians for his new albums. shows how much effort he is putting into them

I only gave this one full listen so far but I much prefer Ocean Machine. Other than Earth Day and Stagnant nothing was too notable imo. I'm half expecting this to grow insanely on me though.

This album is absolute music porn. Earth Day is one of the greatest songs I have ever heard in my life, and I am far from exaggerating.

Earth Day and Stagnant are still the only two songs I really love off of this. And those two songs are really fucking good. Stagnant is really uplifting and Earth Day is just insane.
