How could you not be into Serenades?
Truthfully, this is one of those bands I couldn't pull myself to listen to (their new stuff that is). They're one of those bands where the description totally turned me off but I'm just going to do a leap of faith and we will see. The Silent Enigma is just boring and I've tried so many times but maybe I will try Serenades. What is your favourite of their newer sound?

I totally agree with the review. Up to now, to me it does not stand up to its predecessors. I liked the positive/bright attitude of the last works, but in some way this is a step back to their roots.
Am I the only one who finds Lee Douglas vibrato almost annoying?

The Silent Enigma is just boring and I've tried so many times but maybe I will try Serenades. What is your favourite of their newer sound? I agree about The Silent Enigma. My favorite of their new sound is We're Here Because We're Here, but two of my favorite tracks are the 'Untouchable' duo on Weather Systems.
I love Serenades, though. You can't like doom and not like Serenades.

It's one of my favorite doom albums. On the other hand, Always by The Gathering is another one of my favorite doom albums.
