You've lifted my worries hahahaha. I don't think it's out in Canada yet but I will let you know when I see it.

cool I'd be interested to know how you feel about it since you seem like certainly a bigger Cronembergan than I am

Cronenberg, in my opinion, is the definition of the perfect Canadian auteur.
|
| |
haha probably, then again I don't know many Canadian directors apart from Guy Maddin (amazing for
shorts although, despite his fantastic: The Saddest Music In The World, he's not as good with longuer
features (haven't yet seen Brand Upon The Brain though)))

only a few songs into this, but the notion that he's rehashing old sounds is totally ok by me -- still sounds vital as ever to these ears

Good to see a return from Godflesh, and as far as this EP is concerned, the band are on fine form. Musically this isn't really that different from the band's last few albums before the split, but they pick out all the best bits of their sound and fuse them together nicely. My personal favourite from this EP would be "Dogbite".

yeah this destroys. shiny new toy syndrome hasn't worn off yet, so we'll see if it has staying power. Dogbite is classic Godflesh m/

Dogbite is pretty good though. Considering a bump on this. But yea Ringer has chugs for days. Massive.

I couldn’t imagine a better comeback single than Ringer. Such a jam, still gets multiple spins a week.
