I'm a Christian but yeah it's supposed to be a relationship with God and not a "I follow what my pastor/priest says." Church was originally just Jesus followers chatting under the same roof.

@Friday Even so, I enjoy non-Christian bands as well. Breaking Benjamin is practically my favorite band of all time.

DAMNIT! You lucky bastard. I haven't really been to big concerts before, though I did see Newsboys once, and they're supposed to be pretty popular apparently.

I never really cared for them, though they were entertaining. I was supposed to see TFK but unfortunately I didn't get the chance.

It was a different concert/year, but it was the same event. They are at Soulfest this year and I really want to go to that. They had Skillet last year and I was unable to go so I'm crossing my fingers for this year.

Skillet's downfall makes me sad. It's not a surprise that their last two albums were produced by Howard Benson, too.

To be honest, the production wasn't bad for Awake, but there were so many ballads to it.

Monster was the best song in that album. And honestly, I like Collide more than Comatose.

Awake was a huge disappointment for me because

1. There were too many ballads.

2. John Cooper oversang everything to the point that I thought he'd lose his voice.

3. They replaced Korey with Jen for the backup vocals. Jen's voice is really grating, and it was even worse on Rise than it was on Awake with her over-enunciation of every word.
