agreed, i can tell you i rarely listen to CPWK but when i do it's always a beautiful experience. i used to bump these guys daily in highschool back in the day. some of the songs on here are so nostalgic it hurts ("No Falcons", "Laser Hannon", "St Mark" etc.) it's crazy how good they were at blending catchy melodies with the grindy parts. in terms of the "cybergrind" genre (honestly their earlier albums were heavier than this one) CPWK have always felt organic, not as if they were just mashing up hardcore / grind with cheesy synth or 8bit samples like some other bands were in that time period
now that i think about it, was this ever released on vinyl? about to check discogs

This isn't too good, but it does have a certain charm to it. Lions is my favorite track.

Their first album "Alef! Alef! Alef!" is cancer-inducing. They did well to drop the noisegrind elements on this album.

turns out the bassist (who ran holy roar) had some sexual assault allegations against him and the label basically imploded.
in September 2020, founder Alex Fitzpatrick was accused by two ex-partners, co-operating together, of sexual assault/rape across social media. All allegations were strenuously denied, no formal complaints were made and no charges were brought.[12] As a result, several staff members left the label. Consequently bands such as Rolo Tomassi, Apologies, I Have None, Svalbard and Renounced made statements on Twitter that condemned Fitzpatrick's alleged actions.[13]
label put out a lot of great uk core, real shame
