Wonderful tribute to the man, Will.
I was never too keen on his stuff, but of course this is still very sad news. And I did actually shed a small tear over hearing the news of Frankie Knuckles' death as well. Sad year for dance music.

Apparently it's Hyperdub spreading the word that it was related to the clot in his leg, so I'd say that's reliable enough. Apparently the "drug paraphernalia" near the body was just weed-related

I thought codeine and lortabs etc helped prevent blood clots because they were blood thinners? Maybe I'm wrong, but if I'm right then maybe he didn't even do that type of stuff, or hadn't done it in a while. The music at this point is more important than how he died because we all want to leave some kind of legacy. I haven't heard of this guy, but will check it out. I wasn't too fond of the song featured here though.
