listening to this again, and still really not enjoying it much at all. drums sound so manufactured. this could be a drum machine and no one would know.

The author of this review is a clownshoe. This review is terrible and full of nonsense. Someone please get a better one up. This guy obviously didn't even listen to the album. [3]

do you seriously think this shit is incredible? there's like a million other bands that all sound literally exactly the same. it's just a hyperspeed show of technical proficiency. that doesn't make a good record. this album is more like an exercise than a sincere enjoyment of music.

Even I who LOVES technical music didn't find this that interesting. Albums like Incurso by Spawn of Possession shits on this.

This bands music is seriously an incredible experience live. Even if you can't dig it recorded watching them shred in person is just surreal. They're really nice dudes too. Check em out if you get the chance.

I can't stand bastards who talk as though they represent some universal law or fact. That's not how the world works. Never had never will.

People enjoy what they like for their own reasons and as not obligated to see nor feel whatever 'universal factism' you seem to believe is the case.

youre a fuckwit. obviously when i speak my opinion on something that is my opinion and not a "universal factism" is that even a word lmao.

Honestly this album sucks and suffers from all the usual songwriting problems of standard tech death.

I actually prefer Viraemia to this because they don't struggle to find a tempo to sit in as much as this band. The main reason I don't like the songwriting on this is because it jolts around too many different speeds without any real transitions or logical connections. Also the production sucks so bad. Both bands are pretty crap but Viraemia is at least kinda funny in terms of how overblown they are whereas this is utterly boring.

WTF? This album is full of musical transitions. I agree that it switches gears really REALLY often, but the band definitely connect all the sections.

Also, production on this is INSANE.

Or maybe I don't enjoy crappy tech death? idk man I think a lot of people agree with me on this, there's nothing that memorable about this other than the fact that it's really technical

something like Spawn Of Possession (who I'd say are okay but nothing special) manages the exact same style far more proficiently and more coherently.

yeah i'm with snox on this one. it's a pretty terrible mix and sounds horribly flat and mechanical. tbf there aren't that many well produced tech death albums since most are pretty brickwalled. Still, something like Incurso, which was very clean, can sound good and obviously there are people like Colin Marston who can produce this genre properly so there's not much of an excuse these days for mixes like this

this and most zack ohren stuff are the real poop nuggets in terms of tech death production though
