Jacob, I can't find the post that you were talking about (likely it's been taken down) but it seems to have been a momentary lapse in an otherwise nice band's judgement/character. They've always been exceedingly kind to me when I've interacted with them, nice enough to give me a review copy when I requested it and stuff despite me having no credentials.
Not that it excuses their behavior during stuff like that, and I understand why you wouldn't wanna check this out, but it doesn't strike me as much different that a metal band going "DEATH TO ALL BUT METAL" or "SHRED 4 LIFE". It's still immature and close-minded, especially from a band calling itself progressive, and so is the name calling thing

I actually tried finding that post too out of sheer curiosity, no luck though

omaha, i don't recall us ever making any sort of post like that, and we would certainly never call someone a name over facebook. if you can find the link i'm sure i'd understand, but we certainly don't think the only good music is techy music, let alone would us our fb page to boast such a silly statement.

Fagnutzzzz response may have come off a bit brash, but he doesn't mean it! Omaha, I'm very sorry if anything said in the past came off that way, but we try our best to interact in a friendly fashion on our page; I can't recall the instance, but that doesn't mean that something said couldn't have rubbed you the wrong way. We love technical jank a lot, but it's certainly not everything; for example, one of my all time favorite bands is Dear and the Headlights and they're most certainly not that complex. :P But I'm sorry if anything came off as offensive in any way to you.

Yeah, sorry about them kind of spamming. Toon, I used to jam the ever-loving shit out of Rush's "Hemispheres" on cassette when I was younger!
