nah, its just that the game is crap. Bosses and stages are uninspired (all the bosses have a Guns and Roses theme, wtf), the TIME system sucks, the bazillion armor sucked, etc, etc.

Mega Man 2 is where it's at.

Mega Man X4 is the only Mega Man X I need in my life.

Never was the hugest X2 fan. I always thought it felt like a less-inspired version of X1

love mega man zero series. love zx series. love original series. love the handhelds. love x series. x2 final level was insanely tough. never played the battle network games or legends but i want to. mega man for life.

Battle Network is great, especially the first 3 games. The 3rd one is one of my favorite games of all time :]

X1-X3 were the best, X4 was good too but I always disliked the PS graphics. SN was where it was at with pixelation, soundtrack and color schemes.

I actually liked the PS1 graphics. Sort of a nice combo between retro and modern, I enjoyed that.



Listening to the ending theme of this soundtrack again, still my fave on here. There's such a wonderful feeling of finality and nostalgia :3

The PS graphics for the Mega Man X series were never bad (excluding the 3D one for the PS2- UGH!) but I was a child of the SNES days and I will always remember it as the GOAT even if it really wasn't lol

Oh my God, X7 was horrendous -_- Such a disgrace to the entire series. Not that X6 was great (although I at least liked it), but X7 was the "jump the shark" moment of the X franchise.

Haven't played X7 or X8 yet, but I heard X8 was pretty good. X7 doesn't look THAT bad to me, but I will reserve judgment until I try it.

X2 is very very very underrated and fun. The faster pace makes the game really awesome. The only thing X1 has over X2 is the variable stages.

I'm hoping Capcom announces some kind of new Mega Man entry at E3. I was so excited for Mega Man Universe. I know Inafune and Inti won't be behind whatever it is, but I still want more.

Pretty sad that Inafune wouldn't be a part of it, considering that many Mega Man projects without him can be pretty lackluster
