i used to be mad into sgp when blackland radio came out but then i kind of forgot about him when he didnt blow up like OF, who i was a little more obsessed with then.

i'm liking this a lot so far but for way different reasons than why i liked blackland when i did. intriguing.

agreed. blackland radio and NASA still have an undeniable charm that his material hasn't really captured since. on the other hand though, he is way more sure-footed now as a rapper and a producer and he still has unbelievable control over mood and charisma for days.

it's a minor complaint though, this actually reminds me more and more of NASA, which is a good thing

yeah the first half is burning with depth and rage, it unfortunately cools off a bit towards the

second half where it becomes indistinguishable from your typical datpliff affair, but then it comes

back for one more heated rager on the final track.

so it's basically like twin peaks.

the first BMW is the same way, starts off with a couple foreboding godzilla smashers then cools off as it goes on

yeah that's true. lots of mixtapes are like that though. doesn't really affect the way i feel about it too much. this is part of the reason i don't bother with ratings anymore. like this isn't perfect as a release but it's still pretty much a fucking perfect SGP tape.
