Try re wording this because it just doesn't read right to me. Maybe: The previous Volta album was musclar, diverse, intense, disturbing, and ambitious as opposed to Octahedron which is actually quite subdued. This aspect was quite polarizing between fans because some found it refreshing and some found it disappointing.

Even tho Mongi is a cool cat, the original quote works far better the way it is
