i think my biggest gripe with this review is that the writing occasionally doesn't flow as naturally as it could. the descriptors are great, you have a firm grasp on the english language, but points don't segue into others as naturally as they could, like here:
The album certainly succeeds in creating some songs that one can pore over and peel back the multiple layers, revealing some relatable lyricism and minute musical arrangements that wonderfully affect the entire mood of the song. There are also too many tracks that unfortunately just lull themselves into oblivion as well, with boring instrumentation and Moreno crooning perhaps a bit too much.
it's curious that you list some pros in the first sentence and then follow it in the next sentence with 'there are also...' and then list negatives. of course you can follow pros with cons, but not when you say 'also' because it implies 'in addition'. it would make a lot more sense if you said, 'there are, however, some tracks...'
