"Wicked Tombs" may be my new jam. The percussion and groove are pretty immaculate.
|
| |
Wicked Tombs was the first composition I started working on for this release. I added all the field recordings and spoken word parts later on though, of course.

It is great. I am not all that into a couple of tracks people have been talking about (ie "For Cassandra" or "Realms"), but tombs and "Nightshade are wicked.
And I am a big lover of field recordings. They always make an album better.

I tried to vary out this album as much as possible, while still trying to make it all work. I've mostly associated myself with dark ambient, industrial and drone music on my past releases, but I really feel that this album breaks those molds all together. It's a whole different world.

It is indeed a world unto itself. It is a pleasantly dark listen.

Thanks for the support

I'm impressed, I feel traces of coil, dead can dance and death in june running throughout this album

Thanks for the compliment dude

I should also note that some of these songs are meant to be listened in "pairs" in order for an
enhanced listening experience. For example try listening to "For Cassandra" and "Opened Doors and
Sacred Hearts" together.

dude, did not know!
