Yeah well I don't care what you all say but I deffinately think that allthough this band isn't the most hardcore band I don't particularly go down the for whole hardcore punk scene but thing but really does it matter if they are haedcore or not why fight? Just say wheter you like the music or not and why. I mean seriously why even go into a debate about how gnarly this band is and just listen to the cd and if you hate it put it through a shredder.
Damn it man.

I'm glad I never had to see my own reaction when I first made out the lyrics to the very first song on the CD. Im easily sickened.
Talented musicians. Absolutely horrible writers and if its bad enough, it will ruin ANY album. This is beyond bad though. This Message Edited On 02.23.06

This album belongs in a genre I like to call...crap-core.
|

are you gonna justify that comment or are you just going to irritate me further by bashing the band? this isn't the place for that, take it somewhere else, you can state your opinion, but atleast give us a reason

Silverstein does rock!

not too keen on the album it's just a little weak the song on it that onpens "Let's go!" i thought was a brilliant song but they're too alike Hawthorne and and all other bands that are trying to squeeze onto the same scene if you like that sorta music this album will be one of the bench marks otherwise avoid

what makes genre so important that it has to be constantly disputed on this site? let people think what they want, it doesnt change the sound of the band or peoples opinion of them... so these genre arguements are incredibly pointless.

People who debate genere, are more often than not scensters looking to fit in. Pigeon holling a sound is for kiddies.
Still....I'll classifying Silverstein simply: Fucking below average. They have musical talent...absolutely ZERO lyrical talent. Maybe even less than that.

Popcore is not a real genre, dork.
And pop punk is like Simple Plan, Blink-182. I don't think Silverstein sounds anything like that. They are screamo, especially on songs like "Bleeds No More" and "Born Dead" from their new CD.
