Im not sure why everyone is downing this album, the band has only matured since Sound, and this album is probably more of a return to the sound of Beautiful Letdown than anything. Its definitely a heck of a lot better than Vice Versus. Almost every song is incredibly catchy, and the words are simple and profound in most cases. Have a little positivity people. Too much cynicism will make your heart hurt lol

Just got around to this. The last two albums were such a disappointment. This is is like those two but catchy with more than one decent song.

I'm a huge Switchfoot fan, which probably makes me a little biased. Definitely not their best, and at times kind of cheesy. What I do appreciate is the atmosphere the album creates, it really does make you want to get to the beach. Came to appreciate it more after watching the film.

I used to love this one, then I reallly disliked it for a time, but now I've found that sweet middle spot where I can enjoy it for what it is even though it doesn't touch their best.
