I agree, which is why I didn't go out of my way and talk about influences. In fact I chose to not even mention influential bands in this review.
And I guess this is where I fail as a reviewer since I do this a lot. I will actually do an about-face and give you respect for not doing this. I agree with everybody though, there is something unique happening with this album/ band.
