I think their name is just to get attention, and seem disturbed. When you think about there's no way a corpse could be cannibalistic. It's dead. It couldn't eat anything at all

pretty sweet review. I loved how you put "Its Cannibal Corpse" as a con. But one critisizm is you spent too much time towards the end to close it... but i dont know if i'm the only person who thinks that.

In your review it said that this album wouldn't change your opinion on the band. It actually sort of did for me. I couldn't stand their older material, but I can actually listen to this album and enjoy it.

Looking back now, I agree; I believe its different enough for haters to possibly enjoy, yet similar enough for fans to be thoroughly satisfied.
I still believe this is their best album.

I sampled these guys on itunes and this was pretty brutal stuff. The vocalist scared me but in a good way. This seems like its worth buying. The song titles are a little grotesque though............but with a name like "Cannibal Corpse" you cant really expect much else.

I liked it alot squirrel, i've come a long way from hating cc, and now i just can't get enough.
you at one point hated me too! :p
Anyway, to say the least, that was a great revue, portraying everything i thought about that album precisely.
Although fisher is not my favourite singer i've grown to enjoy his "grunts".
Cannibal corpse can be atributed to my new taste in death metal.
It's a good album, good rythm and guitar tone along with their greatest recording quality, and very fast drums!
