Idk I love it. Personally I don't need a riff to be complex to be effective

Wilson has never been a great riff writer. He writes some awesome solos though.

this. the 'heavy' porcupine tree stuff never really hit me hard, the riffs are either kinda lamely written like in the blind house or the production doesnt give them the oomph they need, like what happened with russia on ice and hatesong.

the solos on the other hand...shesmovedon is basically the greatest thing ever

I really disagree. Besides the vocals which can be weak at times and the occasionally poor lyrics,

they do everything right imo. Steve Wilson is a genius.

Like no one uses a helium voice in their songs and intends for you to take them seriously haha

I could go either way with the interludes but the real songs are kinda spacey and interesting

After listening to it on LSD: Was very tempted to give it a 5.

Pretty sure this album was meant for LSD (I'm looking at you Linton Samuel Dawson). As far as psychedelic rock goes, this album is really fucking psychedelic.
