Aneesh, don't you love that 95% of the comments on this will be saying the vocals suck?

Ugh I know =/

Wish people would give it more of a chance but I guess it's just not for everyone

Or maybe people just don't have time to go back to it after they make up their minds about the vocals being bad the first time. Can't say I don't understand that though; we all do it for something

I love quirky/different vocals, but these are just straight up awful and annoying.

Never said I hated the vocals. It is just a funny surprise to hear them initially after hearing the opening music of the first track if you are unfamiliar with the band imo.

Have you checked these guys out Jacob?

Kind of surprised by that post Jason these seem to be exactly what you'd be in to

Glad to see they stuck with the direction they were going with from Bambi's Dilemma, but they shouldn't have separated the noise-tracks from the not-so-noise tracks on that album. Made it too jarring when listening as a whole.

Not only do I love the vocals, but I really couldn't imagine anything except Yako's voice over this music. What are people really expecting? It makes perfect sense.

=// i just missed them they were here a few weeks ago and i just listened to this album like last week

seems like it would be a really great live show. yeah DNL i can't really imagine other vocals on this either, esp because she really adds to the element of lighthearted fun that these guys convey

They did a split with the locust, that's a better fit imo

Great review!

It's only 2 people on this release (and Melt-Banana Lite, but that doesn't count as a "proper" MB release). They have been a 4 piece previously with numerous fill-ins playing drums on the Bambi's Dilemma tour.

They should have got Dave Witte to keep playing with them.

The vocals were hard for me to get into at first, but they really do fit the music perfectly, and punk/hardcore and noise are two of my favorite things so needless to say I love this album
