This sounds pretty good- I don't hear too many left-field or inventive textures but it seems solid. Will have to give it a real shot.
Like I said, he's very indebted to the past. It's more to do with how he mixes all his influences into one giant, "new" sound and succeeds at it, i.e. to my ears his tracks sound really fresh in today's electronic landscape instead of just derivative.

To be fair, I don't really listen to techno in general since the few albums I've checked out (Floorplan, some Umek and Beltek) haven't exactly tickled my fancy. If there's anything someone could rec that'd be great

The title track reminds of Underworld's classic 'Rez', until it changes midway through to the best Factory Floor track they never released.

Man this album is def entertaining. Can't believe I missed this last year. It is not too complex but at the same time I love some of the twists and turns some of the songs take.
