Agreed that the mix on this is questionable to say at the least. I really wish the guitar could have shined through a lot more. Regardless this album is still really fun and catchy for now, but I doubt it will have long lasting appeal.

"Downtown Battle Mountain and the self titled album had so many incredible guitar parts, but don't get me wrong, the vocals were great too, but they weren't the main focus 100% of the time and they were allowed to flourish over equally impressive instrumentation."

Hey Rob, it might just be worth changing this sentence up a little, as you said "guitar parts" in the previous line, and it's really damn long.

"enjoy your viruses"

The only real way to get a virus on PC is by being a fucking tard. And macs aren't invulnerable to them either, they're just targeted less. The whole virus aspect of a PC isn't a weakness of windows or anything, it just happens to be the most popular OS. If I was really worried about having a virus, which I'm not, I'd use linux instead. But windows is easily the most intuitive and user friendly OS out there.

Holy run-on sentence Batman.

Kidding of course, it's not that bad but perhaps could be tightened up a bit. Great review as always, although I disagree completely... one of my favorite albums by them in fact.

I agree that the bro-chant is cringe-worthy in "The Death of the Robot With Human Hair" -- other than that I dig this album, though.
