Didn't know what to expect after WSMFY, but this is great. You described it very well. Awesome review man. I wish I had written reviews this good when I was around review #8 ish.

I feel that they should have added more passion to this album rather than just lazy lyrics of reminiscing their past. The thing is that most of these songs just sing about how they became a band but in a VERY bad and shallow way. Jeremy is just too into himself and their isn't one good guitar rythm that is rememorable in this album... I only favor about 3 songs on this... "For those who have heart" was clearly the best so far, they just went a bit downhill after that lyrical and genre wise...

The missile drop in Like Lessons Learned is hilarious but soooo ADTR.

It's *before* and so what I really don't like ADTR anymore, seems like "A day to forget" in my perspective. And of course I get judged by a derpish cartoon loving hipster lol! Anime sh*ts on cartoons anyways. -Sigh- Our society today... As I recall "For those who have heart" was actually very good lyrical wise and had awesome musical and life meaning instead of Jeremy boasting about his father or some whiny sh*t... Looks like this band turned into the new Sum 41... How sad.

I don't really understand why this is getting so much more praise than their previous stuff. Doesn't sound too different. This reaction is what I would've expected for WSMFY, which I think I like a lot more.

@fish - For me it's the fact that they did this themselves, always a bit more likely to get behind an underdog story.

I agree

I don't think there'd be this reaction if it had been released as normal via Victory

i've always liked ADTR, but that might be subconsciously affecting people's opinions for sure

I know for sure I wouldn't have bought it if it had been on Victory. Ain't giving them my money
