This is great. Could become one of my favorite post-rock albums someday.

Blackspots + Sleepwalk City = 6/5 or should that be 65.

'Prisms' is really cool. 'Unmake' is both beautiful & keeps you on your toes with the unexpected twists. Yeah, this is excellent. I'm a super-fan of TFOM & OTFAT & this isn't there (yet) but it's a rock-solid release & to me they're still light years ahead of most copycat post-rock bands out there.

First time I've heard this in a while, holds up well. Not spectacularly ambitious but certainly refined & consistently enjoyable.

No-one ever bumps this band but me, which is a shame.

This year is going completely berserk for me, the back-end of it is going to be so ridiculously stacked. Hype!

The first two are still their peak, but I've always considered TDOSI underrated. It's a bit of a departure in sound anyway, so hopefully you find it interesting at the very least. WWEA is another departure in sound (and not quite as strong) but it ups the dance-focused elements from parts of TDOSI (you'll see which 'parts' I mean) and the following EP.

Honestly, this is possibly the least interesting thing they've done, but I'm a bit of a fan-boy so the tried and tested formula works well enough for me. I guess this is perhaps their most understated post-rock orientated release, going back to their roots but with more of a focus on ambience and less on the glitch-driven electronics. Silent Running isn't essential, I like it but I imagine most people could just check this instead, most of what happens there is a less realised version of this, in many ways.

Damn, now I'm just rambling. Hope you enjoy anyway.

This frames things nicely, cheers! Looking forward to We Were Exploding tbh, those dance vibes sound promising

Relistened to this after way too much time, and it's better than what I remembered. As Demon said it's clearly not their best record, but it's too damn well-done to miss it.

4th/5th best 65dos, so that sounds about right. It’s not like their essential stuff gets bumped much either. Plus I went wild for this (as you can tell by the thread) but never listen to it anymore, lol.

Great band though.

P.S. yeah this went nearly 18 months without a single comment (both me) up there ^

Safe Passage is such a beautiful song, single-handedly bumps this from a 3,5 to a 4
