I've never really enjoyed their other work but I'm digging this hard.

Appears I'm alone with this opinion?

fuck, Shit Twins is 20x more mature than the "mature" songs on here

mature doesn't mean sounding like Thrice

I disagree with a lot of what you said about My Crass Patch...the idea that a band should be pigeon holed into one genre just because that's what most of their music has been primarily influenced by up to this point is kind of ridiculous. I'm glad they experimented with new sounds..But as always, the review was an enjoyable and well written read. Good job man

My Crass Patch is a pretty good song, but after I heard more of their material it almost feels out of place/ hard to take seriously. This entire EP is pretty solid though, I still need to check out all of American Radass.

I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with experimenting with a new sound, but I still think My Crass Patch sucks

how does My Crass Patch experiment? by sounding like the most generic emo song ever?

I should have worded that as "changing up their sound" or something like that

Being an avid Thrice fan, I do not see much of any resemblance between them and Dads' music. Don't quite get that comparison, but hey, to each their own.

@WeepingBanana...Not saying My Crass Patch is groundbreaking. I'm saying I enjoy it, and it IS a departure from their emo sound, which qualifies as experimentation (for them at least). If you call that song an emo song then you have no idea what the fuck emo is.

Yeah but I'm confused I thought they were an emo band and not another shitty Thrice ripoff?

Because Radass was unique and catchy but this is generic as hell "experimentation" or not?
