For a while now, fans have been teased, twisted by this rather conventionally unconventional band.

"teased and twisted" you mean?

"Fourth line should read boys' not boy's. Sixth line olds, not old's. Pedantic but true."

This is true, too. Though "news" makes me think of the evening news, not a plethora of new things.

showing that the bad

Should be "band."

sixty-seven minute opus and frankly is a highlight of the progressive rock genre for 2013.

"and" doesn't really work because you've finished describing and you're transferring on to justifying. This should read more like "sixty-seven minute opus that is, quite frankly, a highlight of the progressive rock genre for 2013" or something like that.

Karnivool has not only brought in the new, but have exceeded the typical expectations of the group.

"Karnivool have not only brought new material to bear on Asymmetry - they've also exceeded their fans' typical expectations." Something like that. "the new" is vague" and the "have" demands an identifier (i.e. "the group"). At current you're also transitioning them from a singular possessive ("has") to a plural ("have") which jars your flow. I added the "fans'" thing to make my sentence work.

and expanded it, transformed it

I get the urgent tone you're driving at, but when written, this should just be "and expanded and transformed it"

coming to grips with the fact they could put

"the fact that they"

all make head-way for a band that simply, steps over

"headway." No comma.

pressure on the listener, before letting the pressure

No comma.

bringing the tracks either side together but is merit-able

Wut. This just doesn't make sense. Also "meritable," though you could find a better way to say it.

Those new to the group will fall in love and will work through the group’s catalogue to find more of the music

I assume they'll find it, considering that they'll be listening to it. This could be improved by describing "the music" as something as simple as "the same sound they fell in love with on Asymmetry" or something like that. Also "catalog." Though I guess "catalogue" is passable in some strange foreign nation. Not 'Murica.

These guys are only continuing to grow, recent tours have seen them visit the U.K (Sonisphere, Download, Greenfield, Southside and Hurricane) which is impressive by their own standards

This is kind of irrelevant to the rest of the review, honestly.

Take a listen to “Float”, the tracks

Needs something stronger than a comma. Like a semicolon or a dash. Also "track's"

The song is eerie, calm

"eerie and calm". There is no excuse on this one.

yet underlies a dangerous, sinister theme

"yet it" and I think the word you're looking for is "belies" or you're looking to rephrase this as "yet a dangerous, sinister theme underlies the track."

lyrical flamboyancy to maintain

Should be "that maintains."

That however, is only the start of the sound behind Karnivool’s expansive and gargantuan instrumental aspect.

How can vocals be the start of the instrumental sound? You also then go on to go back into the vocals.

It’s easy to get lost in this whirlpool of noise, it’s not a bad thing and it would be wise to let the music’s momentum take you for a ride,

"whirlpool of noise, but" Last comma should be a period or this becomes a run-on with what's next.

Minus.

Until Finn makes a better face or I get super drunk and find something appealing, the grin of "I floop the pig" is here to stay.

"AM War is atrocious"

It grows. The Last Few is the only song I don't really dig. Sky Machine owns hard tho.

AM War is one of my favorite tracks on the album. It's a slow burner, but catchy in an unusual way.

i'm with tetra - this is actually really boring. i like a few songs well enough but not so much that i want to sit through the entire album. might present a counterpoint to all of this praise.
