That's kind of the point of a numerical rating system - to, you know, rate the quality of an album. I really don't know what's hard to understand about that, it's the sole purpose for the rating systems existence.

I think I'll keep using it and not overrating poor to mediocre albums, thanks though.

Also, if you could fill this out and return it to me at your earliest convenience I'd appreciate that. http://htmlimg2.scribdassets.com/50gt2s87k05xnf4/images/1-01ece685d9.jpg

"Rating an album at a 5/5 means that it's perfect, that is has essentially zero flaws and that you can't find any fault in it. Rating it at a 4/5 means it's just two notches below that and therefore implying that it's two steps short of an immaculate album."

are you retarded

Nah, I just understand how numbers and ratings work. People really love their right to overrate things I guess.

You'd be crazy to deny that the first TSSF record was one of the best pop/punk records of the last 5-10 years - the only people who say otherwise are people still clinging on to "their" era of pop/punk and can't get over the 90's and the early 2000's. Also, what's wrong with Nevermind? Realistically, if you base it simply on the records content, it's probably a 4, but when you consider the amount of impact that record had I think it deserves to be a 5.

I don't know why my ratings are on trial here, Narshh is the one who 4'd the absolute worst album ever made by Jay-Z and gave Mac Miller a 4.5.

So I rate two albums at a 5 - Under Soil And Dirt and Nevermind with community scores both sitting a 4.2 and 4.1 respectively, and Narshh scores something at a 4 with a community score of 2.7, and I'm the idiot?

I get that it's his personal taste and all, but it would seem by and large that more people agree with my scores than his in regards to these albums.

@Iluvatar if you loved JT on Holy Grail at least listen to Heaven m8....its one of my favorite hip hop songs of the year...from JT on the hook to Jay Z biting the love sosa flow and flipping "losing my religion" for the bridge

tssf is good, def not a 5. lol at them being the absolute best pop punk in the last decade, but then they don't really much to compete with so I can see that logic.

Even the best pop punk of the last 10 years doesn't deserve a 5
