mindcrime is my absolute favourite of the three. i&w comes after

It's a pretty tough call for me between Mindcrime, No Exit and Scenes. I think I have all three at a 4.5.

queensryche put all their energy into 2 great albums and a bunch ranging from good to queef, whereas dream theater have been consistently okay and have 3 great albums (none of which as good as mindcrime though) and fates warning dont have a single bad album

Don't care much for Dominici or LaBrie.

It's a toss-up on guitar, bass & drums though, not too sure on that.

I'd say Queensryche. Fates have better riffs though.

I'm with Willie. I saw this a a bit of a return to more of their proper sound, even without the influence of DeGarmo. I don't really know how they did it, though. It wasn't a bad album, but definitely not on par with what I personally would want to hear from them. Everything after this went downhill, including Tribe. I know DeGarmo had a hand in Tribe, but this badly titled album (Q2K???) was better than Tribe.

Tribe had good moments, but it's musically weak in general. I have it
3.5'd.

This is about even with it imo, though I slightly prefer Tribe.
