Yep, favourites being "The Great Divide" and "Blood".

Well, nothing compares to the low point "Dedicated..." reached, I dare to say not even Tate's more recent album.

Kings & Thieves? Heh, I think it's a close match! :'D

"Frequency" I meant. It's a hard task ranking which kind of shit smells worst... tbh I don't wanna try too hard.

Oh, my bad then. Yeah Frequency is pretty sad, but I have a soft spot for the single ("Cold"). Anyway I think that the worst thing Tate has ever done is Kings & Thieves (do I have to explain what the title means to him?).

No he lost his subtlety along with his voice during the years.

You may not like his last idea then. I tried to make a news article but it came up buggy so I don't know if it will be published, here is the fact: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/geoff-tates-queensryche-to-forge-ahead-as-operation-mindcrime/

I think a news article on this could spark some interesting conversation. Maybe you should give it a go... as for Geoff's "plans" they sound menacing to say the least.

Imho Good albums both but, Empire and especially PL are no where near Rage and Operation.

I like Promised Land a ton, but I'm not big on Empire. Always sounded too rushed to me. Operation Mindcrime still remains the band's big masterpiece

I may pick Rage over Mindcrime tbh
As for PL I find it to be a more mature album at least pertaining to lyrics when compared to Empire, but the latter still tries to hold on a rope back to the 80s Ryche and sound-wise I prefer it.

Promised Land is a great album that could have been incredible! The idea of it just wasn't realized to the full potential.

^ This needs elaboration, in order to be understood by some of us who don't feel that way though...
