i love the whole first half, up to and including the Interlude. the first few tracks in particular are great. second half drags a tad.

I'd agree that the first half of the album is the best. But I'd argue that the second half is as strong, if not as cohesive, as the first half. Love Be Brave is the only weak track I see...

idk the conceit of this continuous music-thing is cool but i feel like most of the first few actually sort of lack melodic structure/interest. they make up for it in intensity and that sort of cohesiveness but im not sure id want the whole album to be like that. "little bird" and "where can i go" are much better in that respect
