I love both. Creatures a bit more cuz I jammed it a ton in my scene kid days.

That's why some people dislike this, they can't get over the fact that the band doesn't want to be what they were up until now. Most people dislike it because, yeah, it is extremely shallow. I just found the album to be really catchy watered-down Metalcore with some out of place Industrial/Radio Rock songs. If you take it more at face value you may enjoy it more.

This album was a grower for me. I'm glad they didn't make the same album as Creatures, They're trying new things some good, some bad lol it helped that I listened to the deluxe version the 3rd or 4th time through this album, so the production was better. Interested to see what their 3rd album is going to be like!

New album will rule I think, just based on the 2 songs they've put out so far.

It'll def be better than this at the very least.

okay i'm gonna go ahead and post my whole take on the whole 'self-harm' thing and get it over with.

i try to constantly grow as a human being. i try not to regret or dwell on any mistakes i've made in the past, whether it be a mistake i made over a year ago, or yesterday. it's never good to repeat something detrimental that u do because self-harm is completely unnecessary and there is completely ways to move away from it. i used to do it (i guess i could just because i was a dumb cunt and that could be partially true but honestly at the time it felt right) and the last time i did i believe was early march of this year, during the writing and recording of this album http://singlesoul.bandcamp.com/album/i-wish-i-was-a-bird-so-i-could-fly-away-and-forget-all-of-my-troubles

a lot of shit was going on in my life that was really really shitty and i was just not happy at all but i think even in rlly dark times where u don't feel like living self-harm is NEVER good and NEVER necessary. i wish i had never done it because it doesn't help anything and is just dumb and attention seeking. even through extreme depression self-harm is never justified, and i think it's a thing people should move away from.
