You ever heard Janus, Mongi?
If you dig Chevelle and haven't heard Janus, I would highly recommend them.
Edit: I am a little surprised you only have one Chevelle rating, lol. I kind of figured you would be a fan.

Only Chevelle I've heard is Sci Fi Crimes but that record is sweet.

I think all their stuff is at least worth listening to. Vena Sera and Wonder What's Next are my favorites. Check out I Get It if you haven't heard it already. I fucking love that song.

Although, that video was kind of stupid, lol. I have never seen that before.

That's pretty solid. I like how they don't take they're lyrics too seriously. There's some pretty clever lines on Sci Fi Crimes.

Agreed.
My favorites from Sci Fi are New Momentum and Letters from a Thief.

I love Sleep Apnea Fell into your Shoes and Jars. Jars is catchy as fuck.

Wonder What's Next is definitely the best Chevelle, I second that recommendation

Oh yeah, Jars is great, too. Sometimes I get it confused with The Fad from Vena and think it's on that album instead, lol.
Sci Fi is somewhat light compared to Wonder What's Next and This Type of Thinking, so if you would want to hear a heavier side of Chevelle, Mongi, check this out:

The intro/main riff of this song is just... yeah.

Sci Fi is also more raw due to the lack of samples and them just "playing." Another good song too. I've always been fond of The Red too.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZL17q6uP9uc Check this out it's fuckin incredible.

The Red is good, but I think there are several better songs on that album. Well, except for that shitty acoustic song at the end. Chevelle should just not do that, lol.
That song was great. I thought he had more of an APC vocal style on Autumn, but this vibes more along some Chevelle vocals.
Maybe just one more link...

This is my favorite Chevelle song. I could listen to it over and over again.

Never got into Chevelle honestly. I heard one song and I didn't like it that much.

If you want to give them another go, Toon, try out any of the links I put on this page. You might find something you like.
Chevelle is a great band. I think they have the potential to make an amazing album, they just haven't quite figured it out yet. They always have fantastic moments/songs on their albums, but then others are just kinda... 'meh' and it drags it down.
A good example: every acoustic song they have ever attempted pretty much sucks.

That was cool, too. Might have to pick that album up a little later down the road.

It is more Chevelle like with lots of heavier songs. It's awesome, but still lacks the passion they put into this you know? Still worth picking up. What you thinking of rating this?

Probably going to end up being a 4. I bought it on Monday and I have listened to it twice from start to finish and a 3rd mixed in with some other stuff.

Seasons to Cycle is one of the most beautiful songs the band has ever done.
Btw, thanks for the Chevelle song Ecnalzen, not bad actually. I might give them a shot when I have the time.
