I just gotta say I have way more respect for a perfectionist narcissist demanding perfection and not achieving and walking away than I do for so many other artists and bands who beat a dead horse and release mediocre shit album after shit album. This was a band and a man that knew EXACTLY what he wanted and refused to compromise his integrity for anything. That's highly respectable still. And this still stands as one of the absolute best god damn British rock albums ever, they captured some absolute perfection here. There She Goes is still absolute pop perfection and FUUUUUUUUCK that shitty ass Sixpence None the Richer cover, stripped all of the amazing little minute details of that song away in favor of "Hey what if a cute girl sings this instead?"
