This is pretty good for deathcore, which I think is accredited to the large death metal influence. There's some great guitar work, and the drumming is decent, especially for being programmed. The clean stuff is nice, and the overall cohesiveness of the release is really good, except for "Penumbra". That song is awful.

Thanks man, thank you for checking this out and dropping your thoughts here! We're hoping to outdo this in most ways on our next release.
Agreed, that was a rather awesome comment. Thank you Jac

Nice dig, nice album.

I'm actually just beginning jamming their discog, didn't make it to their last album just yet. But i was digging their discog and i'll eventually get there, and from the tracks i've heard the album is amazing. So yeah, it's more like "Digging: The Dillinger Escape Plan, period". Haha
What's your favourite TDEP album James?
|
| |
Sweet dude, in my Top 5 bands without a doubt.
Gonna have to go with CI or IW, 5'd em both haha.
|
| |
I've recently been getting heaps into Dillinger as well. They're fuckin' bad ASS.
|
| |
I can tell you right away that CI is very, very good. And wow what's up with Greg Puciato? The dude is
incredible.
Just for the record, i know he isn't on CI, but on the rest of the stuff i've heard, he's so versatile
and unique. And that charisma/ stage presence. Anyway, the dude on CI was also outstanding!
They are Cameo. I've been digging in Converge and TDEP. No regrets here!
|
| |
Have you listened to any Botch? Because they're better than both Converge and Dillinger ;-]
|
| |
No but i'm meaning to in the next few days.
Hell, i'll dl it now and listen to it in a bit!
|
| |
Not today nigguh.

Album Rating: 3.5
Haha this is pretty sick, great job dude! Sounds like you need a drummer :P
|
| |
Haha, i've been told that before! We'll try to get a more organic drumming going on, on our next effort!
And thank you, very appreciated! haha
