I'd definitely recommend checking out "Grave New World." That's the album that got me into them, it's pretty stellar. come to think of it, it's about time I revisit their stuff as well!

Thanks! Yeah, I'll check that out today. They have a good sound. I guess I just need to give them a more focused listen.

From the Wichwood is great, but I prefer both ''Grave New World'' and ''Hero and Heroine'' cos they refined their sound. You should also try ''Just a Collection of Antiques and Curios'', a memorable live album featuring Rick Wakeman (all like ''From the Witchwood'')

Great rec, Jethro. I will seek that out. I've read in other places that Hero and Heroine is another one of their best records. I'll give that a go as well. Thanks

I haven't listened to Strawbs in like over a year for some reason, I used to like them a lot. Hero and Heroine is my favourite but Grave New World and the live album Jethro mentioned are close behind.

^Just finished Grave New World and I really liked it. I'll follow it up with Hero and Heroine. It'll take a few more listens, but I could see these guys becoming a favorite. Thanks for the recs guys.

Wise After the Event is GREAT. I like it more than this. he sings on every track and it's more electric, pretty different from this but so so good. trying to get a review together for it atm.
