Of course it could. So could all the stuff you listen to. What's your point?

ok i made my point quite vaguely, just saying that this album did really nothing for me and it wouldn't have made any difference if i hadn't listened to this

It's nothing special, but it's definitely enjoyable.

yeah it's not that bad either, probs not gonna give it another spin anyway

Should I listen for lolz?

The lyrics to You Think You Know are hilariously bad, I thought he was better than that at least

I don't necessarily think that avoiding experimentation is a bad thing. A lot of bands can sound the same and still be consistent (look at Five Finger Death Punch, Chevelle, etc). Honestly, I went into this album with an open mind, not thinking that David Draiman was going to explore different vocal styles like most of you think he should've. All I want was to enjoy the album, and this album really met that expectation.

I went into this album hoping for a more industrial version of Disturbed's debut and that's what I got. Score one for me ;)

People won't be this blunt because of how much they respect David. Even as a huge fan of Disturbed I have to say this album absolutely blows.
|
| |
i havent bought this album yet cause i cant find the explicit version anywere for the cd .
|
| |
Better than Fight or Flight's cd thats for sure
|
| |
I listened to a song of Fight or Flight, feels like ive heard it before.
|
| |
It's really generic, which is a shame because I enjoyed Evans Blue last album
|
| |
i think i might skip this one
|

Come on Willie, this has got to suck.

so much chugging in this. Pretty boring. Close My Eyes Forever is awful. I do enjoy Penance, Vilify and Out
Of Line, but that's about it. Even as a big fan of david this is just... bleh.

I'm not a David fan. He constantly comes off like a rock star douche bag in interviews and his choruses and vocal melodies all sound roughly similar, but he does his narrow vocal style well. Also, with this being a more industrial sounding album, the chugging should be expected -- it just should have been augmented with more background electronics.
