yeah don't ever take my ratings seriously. i'm very intrigued by this album/will definitely be giving more listens but it's just bouncing back and forth between unremarkable and frustrating so far

Album is over-hyped to high hell.
I have done nothing but listen to it since its release because my ipod is broken...the songs are alright but they aren't as catchy as anything he did on futuresex/lovesounds, and there's nothing overtly artistic or groundbreaking going on. It's enjoyable for what it is: a decent pop album.

Maybe in a few years I'll find something to love about this but right now it's fairly disappointing.
The end of 'Tunnels' is excellent I'll admit, and Pusher Lover Girl is memorable. Mirrors is beautiful. The rest is fairly mundane, and don't get me started on Suit & Tie.
