Just heard this album start to finish in a friends car, and oh boy do I hate it. This is literally Mumford & Sons guy singing in an Electro/Indie pop band. Just had to vent. I hate it.

When I saw the name "Things we lost in the fire" I immediately thought of Low and checked this out but Low rules and this sucks so yeah

I *LOVE* "Pompeii." Easily one of my favorite major pop hits from recent times. There's just so much going on in the song that I really like, such as Dan Smith's vocal performance, the drum rolls that preface the second and third choruses, the volcanic chants, the imaginative subject matter, etc.
I haven't heard anything else from the album, though. Is it good? The last time an indie pop hit convinced me to check out its entire home album was with "Take a Walk" and Gossamer back in 2012, and I love both.
