This band is like a more technical and better produced Midwest Pen Pals to me. The singer reminds me of Jack Senff. But for some reason I can't get behind it as much as I want. The lyrics are just too pessimistic and somber, it ruins the awesome musicianship for me. Maybe I'm just getting tired of the same Midwest emo formulas being played out over and over again.
