haven't heard anything from this band that touches this or Tanoshiine and doubt the new one will change it, but this rly was the final form of the ol manic reclusive death spiral

Really expected this to sound like Xinlisupreme and therefore was bracing my ears for ear splitting noise, but this isn't as earth shattering sonically, but much more playful i guess

That's true for Tanoshiine; parts of this are definitely palatable ig, but the whole thing is relentlessly morbid, and the brightness and kitsch only serve to reinforce that imo
