Woah. Don’t know you to have to listened to his other stuff? He was huge for me for a while, probably still top 20 lastfm, but I never got super into figure 8 (which is good, but kind of a lesser Xo?) or basement (I like “little one”)

Wow I was so drunk I brought up tik tok here for no reason. Maybe I was thinking it was the popularity he never quite got? I feel like he was extremely well known but not like beloved. Anyhow I got a Basement on the Hill and it has a few great songs but it feels like a mush mash of thoughts and things so as an album it feels odd.
It was released after his passing I remember playing Morrowind for the first time and listening to Elliott Smith a lot. Strange past, I didn't really listen to him until the 2000s.
