I guess its cool to have a stoner rock fella reviewing since its not exactly the biggest genre on this site. I just think the genre doesnt have much diversity. Alls good though.

No offence taken. I agree with you there's not enough diversity in the genre, but it doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to enjoy some stoner rock from time to time. I had only one stoner rock album in my top 10 last year, about 4-5 in my top 30. I'm not really that huge on the genre as some of you guys think.

Dude. I'm not really handing out 4.5s very often. This is my first this year. I often write reviews for the stuff I like and that's why some people think I'm lenient, but I usually give a lot of 3 and 3.5s to albums I don't review. In other words, I don't like everything so much. Granted, I don't give a lot of ratings below 3 just because I try to avoid stuff I know I won't like.

This band feels similar to Audrey Horne from Norway, especially their debut No Hay Banda.

This is so solid and enjoyable. They have a really clean sound. And by clean I don't mean heavily
produced, I just mean there aren't any unnecessary embellishments or technical wankery. 4.5 is pretty
high, idk but it's good.

but I guess he just reviews stuff he really likes? it's only ever a 4 or a 4.5 review from greg84. not a terrible thing I guess, I'm just less inclined to check something out that supposedly 4.5/5 if that gets thrown around a lot. that rating coming from most other reviewers means so much more to me.

3 songs in and this album is pretty decent. I just feel as though it doesn't have enough of a "punch" in it. The guitar tone seems a little bit too clean or the production is too clean, or something. Also the vocalist is good it just feels almost like he's holding back at some parts to try and stay clean...

The middle section of the album was awesome. Sounded like something Corrosion of Conformity could have done.

I didn't love that, but it was neat. Good vocals!
