Process of Belief is an album I would recommend to anyone whose never listened to Bad Religion, as it as a general overview of what they sound now.

The 2nd album a newbie should listen to is either Stranger than Fiction or No Control; STF is a little like Process in that it has a good overall exposure to what the band does, but No Control is their fastest album & is bar none a classic. It depends on what you're more into.

3rd album should be Against the Grain; with a general exposure to BR prior, you'll be able to appreciate it more. If Generator were longer I would call it the better album, though.

I'm pretty stoked that they went through that abrupt selling out phase that usually happens somewhere
along the line.

This might be their best since Process. Every song rips, short concise and catchy. Even the Brett-sung track is pretty good.

I will also be doing a review, considering how much Bad Religion I listen to on a daily basis.

I'm gonna fight you because you like every album by this band and i don't? lol funny.

If you can seriously listen to this and be like, "yes this stands out above most punk," I completely disagree.

Bad Religion destroys 90% of punk bands at their worst. Any band would kill to make an album as good as No Control, let alone 4-5 albums of that level of quality

That, and I can guarantee that almost every member of every punk band in the world would say the exact same thing.

Bad Religion is also probably the most influential modern punk band ever. They invented the modern style of punk rock with Suffer, hands down. To say that thousands of bands formed by copying BR and their offshoots (NOFX, Lagwagon, Strung Out, NUFAN, The Offspring, Rise Against, etc.) and in turn influences generations more is pretty much true.

strizz posting dumb shit as per usual

cookie-cutter epitaph/fat wreck trash and their offshoots = MODERN PUNK

they've certainly had a negative influence though yeah
