Key To The City and Cut It Up, fine jams.

There's a trillion billion choppy, stop start yank bands with over exentuated vocals that are total shite. Here's one that's just comple shit not total shite.
|
| |
zak you are not good
|
| |
I dig the Copyrights though dude. I really do. Christ knows why.
|
| |
HOW HAVE I NOT HEARD OF THAT BAND BEFORE (one day i'm just gonna go through the whole of Red Scare, No Idea and Asian Man's catalogues so this never happens again)
|
| |
Alternatively spin The Clashs debut and hear the sound of confused, angry, motivated rapscallions making a glorious noise to vent and make a point.
|
| |
ye The Clash are the greatest band of all time but none of their records are anywhere near as urgent as this one
|
| |
You some raving idiot, just stepped off the boat?
|
| |
"urgency" in a musical sense, that is; to say that this thing sounds like it's gonna explode ya fuckin stereo half the time while the mixing on that first Clash record is obviously much more subdued cuz '77.
|
| |
lol
|
| |
yea i obviously don't listen to any fuckin lyrics

i need to spin this, or anything from this band for that matter. going through a massive alk3 kick and i keep seeing this band mentioned when reading stuff about them
|
| |
Album Rating: 5.0
yeah these guys and alk3 both originated from the same mediocre mid-90s chicago ska band slapstick. also dan from alk3 and 2/3 of tla are in the falcon.
i recommend starting with cocktails & dreams, a comp of songs from their pre-fat days. then spin apathy and exhaustion and go in order from there.

It took me way too long to find this band. Goddamn.

Greatest story is a liiiiiiittle bit better than this but the run from apathy and exhaustion through this can’t be beat. Unfairly underrated band
