Well no, that's a little unfair. His early stuff (still as Skrillex though) wasn't all that bad, just general dumb but fun party music that you could get lost in. But he seems to have quickly realised that his fans (re: "the kids") want the wubs, and he's fucked himself by pandering to that one specific sound. Not to mention that every track he makes is essentially a mild re-working of every other track he's done - 8 different kinds of synths fighting over each other, and when he runs out of room at the end of every bar or measure he throws in a bass fart to compensate
