Band looks nice and obscure and probably deserves some attention. I will call upon Spotify and give them a listen too.

@lastsignal

I really like The Dear Hunters stuff, but I think I would have liked to see where TREOS ended up if he would have stuck with them. He did leave before their 2nd album was released tho, so I doubt he had anything to do with their break up. They released a damn fine album with him and another without him.

I agree, Ec. They broke up because their lead guitarist left due to becoming a father, at least that was their reasoning when they did break up. I love the difference in both of the full lengths; they are just so intelligent with their songwriting and their lyrical concepts.

This one is pretty great. So catchy, so much nostalgia.

So many bands I like that don't make music together anymore. Its sad...

Yea, you suggested them to me for the recommended by reviewer section. I ended checking them out and bought What Became Of Me pretty recently. Its really good and def reminds me of Halifax.

I have been listening to Roses Are Red (What Became Of Me) some more lately, Andcas. They are like an awesome blend of Halifax and So They Say.

you definitely should, andcas; roses are red did not get the recognition that they deserved. ec, do you like so they say?

"ec, do you like so they say?"

I missed this, my bad. Yeah, I have both their albums and their ep. I like Antidote For Irony (the title track is so fucking good, along with The Burden and A Beautiful Plan), but a lot of the songs have some messy structuring/vocal lines. I thought Life In Surveillance was a step up in the song writing department, but the vocals feel different and don't sound as good.

Pretty sweet band. Underrated too. I remember loving that one song that was in Prey so I ended up checking them out.
