yeah that's pretty much how i feel, album grew off me so hard. The Fall of the Bees is a killer track though, like it sort of makes me smile about how bleak it is and then you realize he's screaming about bees

This didn't measure up to their debut, but Creature Collecting is still sick.

Lol, the lyrics were always kind of lame and pretentious. There's been no real progression or decline
either way in that field.

Yeah, this is a pretty silly album.

I'd write a review, but I really can't pinpoint what makes it so much worse than Red in Tooth. It just left me entirely disinterested.

This band, man... this band. I feel so annoyed that virtually no one I talk to knows them so I make it my duty to shove their music in their faces.

The new track they dropped recently, "Christian Science", had me worried a little bit actually. The approach is even more in your face, bordering on being preachy, and the music seemed a bit more stiff and stale. I still have my hopes though.

still the worst album name ever

all their lyrics and general word use in relation to the album is pretty awkward and cringey. the whole science theme is just forced and unnecessary 99% of the time, i don't know why they've tied themselves to it so resolutely. shame, because their musicianship has always been fantastic.
