Well they got popular and they're still popular because they're solid live. The songwriting sucks and I can't stand listening to a lot of their stuff, but they really optimize their live show, which does count.
Oh and people love shitty repetition when they first get into music. Sadly, lots of people settle for that.

How anyone can like or give a pass at Getting Away With Murder, The Paramour Sessions, Metamorphosis, etc. astounds
me. Of all "x" amount of albums post-loverhatetragedy that have been released, all have displayed the utmost disregard
for music creation, integrity (pretending like nu-metal didn't get them on the map) & a continuous habit of sellng-out -
this is actually probably the least worst.
The band somewhat gives a shit on this album, randomly, but not without repeated cocktease moments where they hint at
trying to be like old papa roach, but if it's not the slick production & lesser density of the vocals (in most cases) that get's
in the way, it's the bands continual reliance on shitty mainstream pop choruses that obscure any said intention.
tl;dr: BETRAYAL PART DEUX-DEUX-DEU- WOOOMP.

I thought these guys hit the crap bucket after whatever album "Getting Away With Murder" was on came out. Oh well, they will fall into obscurity soon enough.
