God, I know a lot of people who are like "well, maybe they're not THAT good today, but Hybrid Theory and Meteora are, like, some of the best albums ever".
No they're not. Hybrid is great, yeah - has some good songs.
Meteora is OK at best.
The rest is shitty.

It's not like it had some stiff competition back then. Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, Papa Roach, POD... It was a gem in the rough back when this type of music was such a huge deal.
At least from what I remember anyway. There are probably other notable artists that I didn't know about.
