i feel like it's a bit more progressive than the other 2 records in the trilogy. the EPs are all incredible, but i'm finding those to be more atmospheric. Just so many different sounds from these guys all done incredibly well.



btw crysis i ordered the box set. hooked.

the drummer is great and fas was a good album but this band is french which means they are bound to fail

Karl is losing his hearing. This sounds nothing like Paracletus.



Ok, they're still doing a more standardized approach to their song structures which in fact made Paracletus so refreshing in the first place. They do this throughout the entire E.P. except they got rid of half of the chaos and replaced it with a more straight-forward, almost typical approach (listen to the first song dammit) and thus loosing what made them so damn unique. Don't get me wrong, this is still DoS through and through, it's just more or less same old, same old. That's why this is a 3, meaning it's still good. Feels to me like you're just basing your rating around what they've done in the past, not the present. However, I'm once again just going to be the minority on this one, nothing new on this site hahahaha. I still respect everyones opinion.

Second that, they are pretty fucking boring. You have shitty taste in metal alachlahol if you think Miko should leave Deathspell for them.
